Land reclamation and restoration of neglected plots

GREON · Prague and Central Bohemia

What will the restored plot be used for?

We plan restoration around the intended use. For a future lawn we need to know the soil condition and finished levels. For planting, we need the positions of beds and trees. This determines where clearance is enough and where roots must be removed, soil moved or the surface prepared.

Service scope

What to know before booking

We assemble the necessary stages, from vegetation removal to soil preparation, into a restoration plan.

When this service can help

  • The area has become overgrown and its soil needs attention.
  • You want to use the land again as a garden or green space.

What we agree beforehand

  • Priorities, intended use and possible phasing.
  • Final condition and extent of aftercare.

The result and follow-up care

Handover can take place in stages. We define the completed work and next steps for each.

The extent of restoration depends on site condition. New planting and long-term care must be included in the brief if required.

Restoring land in agreed stages

  1. Present condition and desired result

We assess vegetation, soil, terrain and access, then establish the site's purpose and what should remain.

On this Prague site, we combined land shaping, small stump removal and soil preparation for seeding. See the prepared site ↗

  2. Coordinating the work

We define clearance, obstacle removal, groundworks and soil preparation, specifying a result for each stage.

  3. Handover and aftercare

We confirm completed work and next steps. Seeding, planting or maintenance are included only where agreed.

Answers before you enquire

Frequently asked questions

How does restoration differ from land clearance?

Clearance removes unwanted vegetation. Restoration combines the further steps needed to repair the terrain and soil for the site's intended use.

Can land restoration be phased?

Yes. For each stage, we define the work, handover condition and necessary next steps in advance.

Does restoration include a new lawn or planting?

Only if included in the quotation. Soil preparation, seeding, planting and aftercare are separately defined parts of the brief.

What should I send for a restoration proposal?

Photographs of current conditions, location, area, access and the site's future use. Include vegetation to be retained and priorities for any phased work.
