Branches, trunks and forestry residue can occupy a substantial part of a site. On-site processing needs suitable access, working space and a realistic material estimate. Piece dimensions, contaminants and handling determine the method. We also agree a collection point, any removal and tidying so processing supports your next steps.

Stump shredding

We assess shredding of extracted stumps according to size, quantity and contaminants. Tell us whether they have been extracted or remain in the ground, so we can choose shredding, grinding or another sequence.

Extracted stumps differ from clean pruning branches. Their dimensions, soil, stones and other contaminants affect processing. Photographs and a description help us assess suitable shredding and handling. For larger quantities, the working area must be chosen beforehand, along with whether the processed material will stay or be removed.

The result and follow-up care

We define what will be chipped and what happens to the processed material beforehand. Chipping, material movements, transport and tidying are distinguished in the quotation according to your brief. For stumps, condition, size and attached soil also need checking.

What is wood chipping and what material can be processed?

Chipping reduces branches, brash, trunks and forestry residue to smaller woodchips. We assess the dimensions, condition and any contaminants before selecting suitable machinery.

How much does branch and wood chipping cost?

The price depends on the volume and type of wood, piece dimensions, machinery access and handling. Transport, any chip removal and clean-up are agreed separately. Send photographs, an estimated quantity and the project location for a quote.

Where do you provide wood chipping?

We provide wood chipping in Prague and Central Bohemia. Include the town or address, photographs of the material and access details in your enquiry. We prepare a quote for the location and scope of work.

Is high-capacity chipping suitable for a smaller pile of branches?

Suitability depends on the volume of wood and the cost of transport and handling. Send a photograph and an approximate quantity of branches so we can first assess whether this method is suitable for your project.

Can the woodchip stay on my land?

Yes, we can agree to leave it on site, including a storage point and any handling needed. If you require chip removal, we include it separately in the quote.

Is branch chipping the same as stump shredding?

Branches and clean wood are assessed differently from extracted stumps containing soil and stones. For stumps we need dimensions, contaminant details and confirmation of whether they have been extracted. Stumps remaining in the ground require another method, such as grinding.
